M/V Starcraft

When things are dilly-dallied, everyone wanted to arrive in their respective destinations the fastest the better.

Featuring M/V  Starcrafts 1 :

This is a small type of vessel that transports passengers from Cebu - Bohol (Tubigon Port) faster than the usual vessel.

Though, this costs double than the other ships, still people preferred to pay the price which is worth a ride.

M/V Starcraft Travels 7days a week.

Here are the actual cost paid for the Ticket / the Boarding Pass.

The fare costs Php200 for a regular passenger & only Php170 for students who brought their ID's w/ them
(since they now write your ID # on your ticket - see right boarding pass).

When you came from Cebu towards Bohol, you don't have to pay the stamp which cost Php 5 (the orange one - smallest among the three).
Only in Tubigon Port that will be needing one.

Precautionary Measures for safe voyage.

Leisure during the travel - watch movies.

Their comfy seats which can help you relax and even can sleep on 'em!

Their Comforters.

 And, the Life Jackets
which will be used during emergency evacuation.
They are placed just right above the seats.

The travel time from Cebu - Tubigon Port (in Bohol) & vice versa is approximately 1 hour.

Have a happy trip!

Rainy Summer Days in Bantayan Island

This was a Signal # 1 Get-Away
...heading Bantayan Island...
These pics were taken Last May 8, 2011.
Though we had a rough day on our way towards north port for Bantayan, still our mindset is to reach the Islands of Bantayan.

We stayed at Mayet Beach Resort and paid only Php 600.00
($13.65 ; 10.52 EUR during low season)
Rates during high Season are Double-Priced.
Their very spacious Parking Area.

The surrounding was quite peaceful not because of the bad weather condition but because the Island’s Peak season happen during The Lentens and The Halloweens.

There were only two bungalow houses that consist of 2 rooms per house.
The inside of the room :
-2 comfy beds
-1 t&b comfort room

We also visited the nearby resort, the famous Ogtong Cave.
But the intention was not really to go there and observe huge crowd instead we just wanted to experience A stay at the place they called LittleBora.

Though, we were only few among the visitors in the resort we were in, still we manage to enjoy the fun that we were looking for.

We do the usual things-to-do during our stay.
Played beach-volley.
Grilling.
Bought kilos of talaba. (enjoyed eating ‘em all)

NOT TO ELABORATE.
Just a taste of what fun it is durin’ our stay!

And headed home after a 2day & 1night - stay.

Though in our way home the storm signal was still there.
We had a rough sail and redirected our voyage on a different path
(different to what is the usual way)
since the sea behaves terribly bad.

We rode a RORO on our way back to Cebu.
